PyBigKinds

An open-source Python library that turns exports from BigKinds — the Korea Press Foundation’s news database — into ready-to-use dataframes, with utilities for cleaning, tokenizing, and reshaping the raw data for downstream text analysis and topic modeling.

Built-in functions such as press_counter() and keywords_wordcloud() chart outlet-level publication counts and keyword word clouds with Korean-font support out of the box, so a raw export becomes a visualization in a few lines. Published on PyPI.
